History

Home to one of the world's largest and highest-quality marble deposits. The Yule Marble Quarry supplied marble for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Lincoln Memorial. The town boomed during quarrying operations, declined when the quarry closed, and retains a small community today.
