Wyoming's oldest incorporated town, founded around copper mining that began in the 1880s. Later became an iron ore mining center. Home to the Miners & Stockmen's Steakhouse & Bar, claimed to be the oldest operating bar in Wyoming (est. 1862 as a stage stop). About 62 residents remain.
