History

Originally called Nolan's Camp. A gold mining boom camp that sprang up in 1893 in the New York Range. Had an assay office, hotels, saloons, stores, and cabins. Located on a historic stagecoach route that followed a Ute trail. A few families still inhabit structures seasonally.
