History

Part of the Georgetown-Silver Plume Historic District, one of the most well-preserved mining districts in Colorado. Connected to Georgetown by the famous Georgetown Loop Railroad (narrow gauge, built 1884). Most buildings date to the 1870s-1890s silver era.
