History
Site of the infamous Ludlow Massacre on April 20, 1914, when Colorado National Guard troops and company guards attacked a tent colony of striking coal miners and their families. 21 people were killed, including 11 children. A pivotal event in American labor history. A granite monument and memorial park mark the site.
