History
A notorious 'Hell on Wheels' town that followed Union Pacific Railroad construction. Named for a railroad contractor. Had over 3,000 residents at its peak, filled with saloons, dance halls, and gambling houses. When the railroad moved on, Bryan disappeared almost overnight. Briefly served as temporary county seat.
